We started our trip to Spain at the railway station in Goerlitz. We started our journey by trai and, after getting to Berlin airport, we flew to Valencia. When we arrived there, our hosts took us on a planned tour of the city for the whole day. We visited churches, a new opra house and a garden nearby, had a look at various sights from the viewing locations as well as we had a meal in the local restaurant. Then we came back to the airport to pick up the guests from the Czech Republic and went to our destination – Oliva – by coach. The school which we co-operate with in the ERASMUS+ project is located in this small but very nice and friendly town. The following day brough us lots of new impressions and experiences. We visited school and learnt much about it. We also had a walk around Oliva to find out about the town. On the next day - our second working day - we went to the National Park near Oliva and could have a walk around it. We were also able to see the rice fields and learn about growing special brand of rice in the region. Then we visited a small town called Pego where we had our lunch in the local restaurant. We had an opportunity to see the local architecture. The there was a visit to an orchard – an orange orchard. The owner told us about his work and we could taste fresh oranges picked directly from the trees. The farmer whose plantation we visited came to school on the next day. He delivered us a lecture about oranges and planting them. He showed us and described various sorts of oranges and told us about their specific features. It was also possible to try orange juice of different sorts. On Thursday we could witness the local festivities of the Carnival called “Fallas”. The day was also devoted to the project work. We prepared a business plan for a specific kind of business and worked on all aspects related to it. The next day was also the day when we worked on the project work – our business plan.

When we left for lunch, we also visited the local market hall with various stalls. On the next day we completed our project work in the place where we were accommodated. There was also a meal prepared by parents for all the participants.
