We are a semi-private school located in Oliva, a coastal town near the city of Valencia. We are a lively and dynamic school divided into four categories which cover the whole of compulsory education in the Spanish education system.

Pre- Primary school stage, Primary education, Secondary education,

A level courses. We have a total of 422 students in our school At school, we teach several subjects.

As we live in Valencia our students have two official native tongues and that means they have to be able to communicate fluently in both. English is taught at early stages, from Pre-primary school to A Levels.

The subjects we teach at school are the followings:

Science, History, Valencian language, Maths, Spanish, Education for Citizenship, Religious studies, PE, English, Art and crafts, Music, Biology, Geography, ICT, Physics, Chemistry, Psychology, Philosophy, Latin, Economics, Art history, French language (as a second foreign language). We have 39 people on our staff who are worried about the learners' progress in education and work hard every day to give their best.

Our main motivation to join this project, it is the motivation itself which we will gain from accomplishing this project. The motivation to expand the scope of knowledge. As teachers, we will learn from other ways of teaching and learning. We will also have the opportunity to be given feedback on our work, and surely we will all have a great experience.

We have chosen this project as an interdisciplinary project. We strongly believe in the power that healthy habits have in our bodies and in our minds. We think this topic is quite interesting for all the school community because it will have an advantageous impact on us.

The main key people in charge of running the project in our school will be:

Ms. Belén Llácer, head of English Language Studies in Primary Education

Ms. Bárbara Bolinches Mestre altogether with Ms. Nuria Salvador in Secpndary Education.

There will be other teachers who will be in charge of the project:

Dr. Francisco Atienzar Head of studies in Seconday Education.

In the unfortunate event that these people leave their role, we have other teachers taking their role:

Consuelo Orquín, psychologist

Inmaculada Concepción Pons Gilabert, president

Rosa Santosjuanes, primary teacher

In our school, we still have not taken part in an Erasmus+ project. We are willing to participate.

As I said we don’t have any previous experience in this kind of project but we live in a singular place where the diet is important and valued around the world. Also, our students are active sportspeople. We will be glad to explain to our European fellows which are our traditional dishes and sports in our area.

Regarding the covered projects our school is renowned for its educational exchanges to Paris. Also, being located close to a beach, ecological studies are considered important. We took part in projects about the care of the environment.
