Our school was founded in 2016.There are 324 students attending the school with 12 classes. The school is near the seaside with a large garden and a beautiful view. A principle, three assistants and a total of 24 teachers are all together at school. As a school, we are interested in this Project. 324 STUDENTS AT SCHOOL,152 STUDENTS LIVE IN THE DORMITORY OF SCHOOL. THEY COME FROM DIFFERENT CITIES OF TURKEY. There are Georgian origin people live there.

Province of Rize is very famous for its green and blue, it has a wonderful nature.The colour green is from its forest and tea plantations (Rize is called as the capital of the), the colour of blue is from the sea. It has picturesque mountains, rivers, and valleys. And also it provides you the chance of doing extreme sports like rafting, snowboarding, and mountaineering. Rize has its own traditional and typical cuisine (muhlama, hamsikoli, lahana, sarma and etc.) and folk music (like tulum and kemençe) and folk dances (like horon).

Province of Rize is also a multi-cultural place, too. There were Greek and Armenian people lived in these lands in Roman and Ottoman times. Near here, there are still villages in which people of Greek origin live. They are Muslim now but they can speak Greek and have some customs and traditions from old times. And also Rize is near Georgia.

We expect the project to respond to the needs of our pupils who come from small towns through which they have limited access to information and cultural goods.

Students need to improve their motivation for further study, and that will improve their personality and language skills, teach them to work in groups, also in an international environment, and finally that the project will increase their self-esteem. They need a friendly atmosphere of cooperation and they need to be encouraged to participate in the project so that they can show their country to other children.

Muazzez Tikbaş( English Teacher), Macit Bedii Sancak (Head Teacher)and Serkan Tepe (Philosophy Teacher) will be in charge of running the project.

In case they leave their posts in the future, İsmail Gökhan Gürsoy, Canan Pulatlı, Sabit Yalnız will be in charge of the implementation of the project
