In November 2021 we flew out from Berlin to spend a week of our mobility in the Turkish city of Pazar. We had an opportunity to get to know the local culture and meet new people as well as see many new places. There were also many occasions to try local food and dishes. Every day we learned how people earn their living and run private businesses which was the main idea of our project. We met some of them also during our free time and - thanks to that - we listened to some interesting stories. After 2 or 3 days, they smiled and welcomed us kindly every time when they saw us (one of the sellers even gave us a loudspeaker as a gift). Of course, in addition to all this, in the mornings and in the evenings we spent time together with other participants of the project. We got in really good contact with some of them and spent time together in our rooms or outside the school. Obviously, we also worked on the project subjects, which was and impotant part of our stay in Pazar. One day we went for a trip to Rize. We had some free time to spend in a bigger city. We visited an ancient castle and a botanic garden. We could also admire a beautiful over the whole city fom the hill which we climbed up. We enjoyed the whole trip very much - no one was alone or bored. We were also taken for a trip to a mountain holiday resort and visited both business places and some architecture monuments on the way. Finally, there was a visit to a tea factory. The region of Rize is famous for its tea. We learnt much about its production and could buy various sorts of tea in the factory shop. We had many new experiences which remain in us for a long time and we could meet many new people who are going to stay in our memory for our life.
